I am Chathura Jayasinghe from Kandy, Sri Lanka. I schooled at Kingswood College and Berreweart's College. Currently, I am employeed as a Production Specialist at Stax Inc., which is a U.S. based strategy-consulting firm. Prior to joining Stax Inc., I worked at HNB Assurance Ltd. for 2 years as an Accounts Assistant and at ABC Insurance Company Ltd. for 1 year as an Accounts Executive.

My main interests are music, cricket, martial arts, photography, web design & development, traveling, and making new friends. My father is J M R Jayasinghe, who is a master teacher at Department of Education. My mother is Rani Moraketiya—a teacher. I am the eldest of three in our family. My brother is Rasika Jayasinghe. He graduated from University of Peradeniya, and is working for Dialog Telekom as a senior engineer. Sister is Eranga Jayasinghe, just completed her G.C.E. Advanced Level Examinations. I am married to Udari Wijeweera. She is an Accounts Clerk at Dinapala Group. She is also from Kandy.
